Christmas is a special time for our family to come together and make memories. Together, my husband and I have seven children, and most have grown and moved on with their lives. So we cherish every moment we have to be together. A different feeling surrounds us this time of year. The Christmas season brings forth special times and joyful celebration. This year we are blessed with three more beautiful grandchildren.

We started the month of December with a weekend of Christmas fun to kick off the season. First is the family tradition of making Christmas cookies. Then we love doing crafts with the grandchildren for something to hang on the tree or give to someone. We always enjoy driving through the Christmas Night Lights. No Christmas is complete without some of the good old traditional board games. The best thing is hearing the laughter of little ones and making the finest memories every year. We have a manger, tell the story of the birth of our Savior, and rejoice in His greatness as we sing Glory to the Newborn King and Away in the Manger.
