Men of Faith in Action
Men of Faith in Action meet every Wednesday in CFC 2 at 6:30PM. We grow and worship through our various discussions of books and Bible studies related to men and have a time of prayer.
Most Saturdays you can find us helping people including the elderly, single mothers, and those in need. We might be lending a hand with a move, doing home repairs, or building handicap ramps. We share Jesus with each activity.
A home-bound woman was very ill, and though she had an electric wheelchair, she could not get out. After we built her a ramp, she came down the ramp smiling about her new freedom. Another person with various health issues asked us to load a small U-Haul truck with her life’s belongings so she could move to another city. She gave us a card and apologized for only a small donation. It reminds us of the widow and her mite. A lady wept as she led a caravan of seven trucks and trailers to a different house. She was overwhelmed with our generosity and remembered one of us sharing Jesus with her. Each project ends in a circle of prayer, and sometimes hugs!
Every venture has its own story and blessing – to those we serve and to each member of Men of Faith in Action.
