TOGETHER Doing God’s Works of Service

Don & Kathy Williams

Don, having transitioned from the role as superintendent of Grace International School, is the Country Team Leader for all Free Methodist World Mission (FMWM) personnel in Thailand and he is an Organizational Development Consultant throughout Asia.

From Chiang Mai… (and around the globe) there are plenty of examples of people working together accomplishing much more than they ever would be able to do on their own - a definition of synergy and teamwork. This is true of sports teams, for those in the military, in business, in churches, and even in families. We are no different. We are able to do God’s work in Asia because of our unique, God-given gifts while being completely dependent upon the Lord and those who “supply what is lacking from us” as mentioned in 1Corinthians 16:15-18 by Paul. Our successes are their success and yours too. Together we do God’s works of service, not ours alone!

We accomplish more because of praying partners, supporting partners, fellow missionaries whose gifts pair with ours, and the National Leaders throughout Asia who have much to offer in the “together” equation:

Us + Others = Accomplishing Much More

Thank you for being a part of the “together” equation by helping and supporting us and our ministries. Pray for effective Strategic Planning Sessions we conducted in our home and that the leader of this closed country can take what’s been modeled back to his leaders and develop the country’s first Strategic Plan for the church. Pray for the Lord of the harvest to raise up new long term workers for Asia to support the national church. There are immediate needs in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Bangkok, Thailand and regionally throughout Southeast Asia. And finally, Pray for the increasing risk many of our churches and pastors are facing, with growing opposition to the Gospel across Asia. Pray for courage, protection, boldness, and wisdom.
