Born of the Spirit
Pastor Mark uses the Scripture text Luke 1:26-38 as the foundation for his sermon telling of the announcement to Mary that the Savior would be conceived in her by the Holy Spirit. We also must be born of the Spirit to have life. This mystery is outlined throughout Scripture. The Christ child was born in Mary not because of any virtue on her part, but out of the grace of God.
